This seven-hour course provides the boater with essential information for safe boating. We review boating laws and necessary safety equipment and procedures. Course topics include:

Equipment for Your boat

Trailering Your Boat

Safe Boat Handling

Aids to Navigation

Navigation Rules

Piloting Your Boat

Your Boat’s Radio

        Federal and State Boating Regulations

 

Successful course completion results in award of certificate, which may qualify the boater for substantial insurance discounts.
