Become a Member of USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 19

Are you ready to join our team and provide valuable services to your community? Do you want to improve your boating knowledge and skills? Or do you just need an excuse to do something you love – working around boats and fellow boating enthusiasts? Our Flotilla might be the right place for you!

Our members teach boating classes, inspect vessels to ensure the proper safety equipment is aboard, and work directly with the US Coast Guard on search & rescue missions when needed. We also visit schools, attend boat shows, and travel to marine dealers and other locations year round to deliver our boating safety message.

You decide how much time you spend with your teammates and which tasks you’re interested in doing. Whether you have only several hours each month or unlimited time, we can accommodate you and your schedule. Best of all, we provide you with the training and skills necessary to successfully accomplish these tasks!

Membership is available to US citizens 17 years of age or older. You must be in good moral standing, with no felony convictions. The ideal candidate is energetic and self-starting, and has a sincere desire to learn while providing service to the boating public. Vessel ownership is desired but not required.

Our members enjoy what they do and it shows – they were selected as the best Flotilla for four consecutive years in a district stretching from the Arizona / New Mexico state line across the southern states to just east of here in St. Marks , Florida . If you’re ready to become part of our elite team, contact our Personnel Services officer by clicking here!
